Great day! It was the day where all 3 homes meet! Even though some can't make it due to different school sessions. Some youths from the homes are in afternoon sessions therefore couldn't make it. No worries since we're starting another ICT class starting this Friday, just for the afternoon session youths.
we brought the youths to KPerak to conduct the ICT lesson.
If you're wondering what exactly KPerak is, well.. KPerak is a trust company of the Perak State Government to lead ICT development in the state. At first we thought we would just want KPerak to sponsor us the computer labs to teach the youths ICT. It turns out that KPerak got interested in what we Cybercare are doing and was very supportive on our activities. We're currently in a progress on signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with KPerak. If we manage to sign this MoU, it would be more convenient for our next coming batch of Cybercare interns. Where KPerak agree that they will provide ICT training infrastructures to the interns to teach the youths from the shelter homes ICT lessons. We're still working on it. Hopefully everything goes on smoothly :D
Anyway, this is what we've did last Monday :D
